Skills: Ability to assess laptops. Ability to follow install instructions at http://doc.vic.computerbank.org.au/software_docs/cbvdistro_network_install/ Ability to upgrade RAM/HDD in laptops. Good web research skills.

Things to be Aware of when Working with Laptops

Keep an eye on the laptop/s, lock them in the development lab if you need to

Keep the laptop cupboard locked at all times

Do research before cracking open a laptop

Be delicate with laptop internals

Confirm with someone else before trashing a laptop

Update the Laptop inventory /home/fnord/cloud/ it is an .XLS file

Note any issues or problems in the laptop inventory

File laptops back where they belongs (don't mess the number system up) and put accessories in the right numbered bag and the correct box
