Thin Client Networks

• No Staff/No Resources /Will pick up and train at CBV - Free and dependant on resource (computers, ram, volunteers) availability
• No Staff/No Resources /Delivered and installed/Train at CBV - ? or train on site -? an hour (min 2 hours) + call out fee of b/t ? each visit
• Part time Staff/some resources/ start at ? for old technology ? for mix of new and old technology, delivery and set up is an extra ?. Training additional. Training at CBV ?per person per 2 hour session (min 2, max 4).
• Full time Staff/lots of resources / start at ? - only mix of new and old technology offered - delivery and set up is an extra ?. Training at CBV additional ? per person per two hours (min 2, max 4). On site training is ? an hour (min 2 hours), with call out fee b/t ? each visit.

This is where Recipients have had their computers for longer than 3 months and require support. Currently this ?, possibly should be $? GST inclusive. Recipients bring their computer to CBV, turn around is one week, except in the case of tricky issues. If critical we can try and be quick, but no guarantees.

We should possibly give recipients one free Internet Configuration (ISP setup) regardless of the time it takes for them to hook up.

In Home User Support and Training

This is where recipients want us to come to them to fix a problem. If within the first 3 months, depending on the issue (ie if it is our fault and not a user error), we will go out for free. After three months this is ? per hour, plus a call out fee of b/t ? depending on location. I think this is GST inclusive.

In home individual training can be arranged for ? per hour, plus a call out fee of between ?. Only for individuals. Group training (max 4) is ? per hour, plus GST. Should charge a call out fee of between ?. I'd also suggest we add a $$ increment for the inclusion of extra people in sessions, ie ? an hour per extra person.

I've quoted someone ? for a setup like this (using dial up connection) + ? for a switch. Involves networking win laptop to linux desktop that is setup as gateway/firewall. Linux desktop has dialup connection to ISP. Job is coming in Tuesday. Update: This never eventuated.
