Volunteer

Currently our  hardware and software areas have enough volunteers. The only road into the hardware and software area, is by joining our Work for the Dole program.

Join our Work for the Dole Program

We run a Work For the Dole (WFD) project on Wednesday and Thursday between 9-5pm. The program is ideal for people who want to get some experience in an open source software environment, or, for people who are keen to learn about Linux and/or hardware.

How Do I Sign Up?

Contact your Job Network Member (JNM) to find out if you can volunteer to do a WFD project. Your JNM will contact our Community Work Coordinator, Kangan Batman TAFE. They should ask for the Computerbank Rebuilding PC's program in West Melbourne.  For more information about WFD, visit our Community Work Coordinator's Web Page or call Computerbank on Friday or Saturday.
